One free digital portrait by Mireille Lafontaine

Our arrangement with a photographer was cancelled at the last minute due to sudden illness and Linda asked Mireille to step in a few hours prior to the event. 

​

Mireille Lafontaine was a respected portrait and wedding photographer prior to her breast cancer journey. She talks to her subject and has the natural ability to make everyone at ease in front of her camera lens. Using natural light, she allows the natural beauty of the person to shine through.

Karen Smith

Karen received her training and certificate as a Professional Cosmetician from Versailles Academy, and worked in the industry for many many years selling cosmetics as well as doing freelance work for weddings and events. 

In 2008 she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and underwent two seperate mastectomies, chemo and radiation. 

Presently, her time is split between a full time office job, enjoying life with her family, and their two awesome pups. Karen is also a Reiki Master/Practitioner.

Makeup artistry has always remained a passion,  Karen is delighted to volunteer and utilize her skills again!

Lana Burnley is a Certified MakeUp Artist by Paramita Academy of Makeup Inc, passionate advocate for better and healthier skincare and makeup and most of all a 3x breast cancer survivor. She widely recognized for using safe and pure cosmetics Lana volunteers for Camp Quality (camp for children living with cancer) as well as the hospital program for cancer patients “Look Good, Feel Better.”
